Rooftop AC Repair
Packaged rooftop units and roof-set condensers, fixed on the roof
Rooftop units take the weather head-on and sit farther from the thermostat than anything else in the building, so they fail in their own way: a condenser fan motor that seizes after one summer of direct sun, a capacitor that can no longer carry the amp draw, a contactor pitted to nothing, a coil packed with the leaves and rooftop grit the drains feed toward it, an economizer damper stuck open, or a unit that trips its high-pressure safety on the hottest afternoon of the week and stays down until the sun comes off it. We repair packaged rooftop units and condensers set on a roof deck — we get on the roof, put gauges and meters on the unit, and find the fault before anything is swapped.
