Central Air Conditioning Repair
Diagnosis and repair for systems that already exist
When central air stops cooling, the cause is usually one of a handful of things: a low refrigerant charge from a leak, a failed capacitor or contactor, a seized condenser fan motor, a frozen evaporator coil, or a control board that has stopped talking to the thermostat. We diagnose the system properly instead of guessing — gauges on the ports, amp draw measured, static pressure checked — and then tell you what it takes to fix it. We work on the equipment already in your house, whatever brand it is and however old. If your system still runs R-22 — the refrigerant phased out in 2020 — we'll replace the unit and its refrigerant with a current system. It lowers energy costs, and it means you're no longer propping up an ageing machine with a refrigerant that is no longer manufactured.
